In early 2020, as a global pandemic forced a large amount of the workforce into a remote working environment, Breaches and Brews co-hosts Troy Wright and Eric Woelfel began hosting virtual events on interesting security topics along with a spirited discussion on their favorite brews (beer, coffee, teas, spirits). Initially aimed at helping their local workforce community, the show quickly proved useful for entertaining and educating a wide ranging audience, regardless of IT experience and cybersecurity knowledge.

Today, as the amount of breaches are beginning to reach the brim of the worldwide corporate glass – Breaches and Brews wants to expand our vision and the palate of our listeners by reaching out further to more brew and breach enthusiasts. We’re excited to continue our discussion around noteworthy breaches, discuss some tasty brews, and assure you’re prepared for the next big security event. Breaches are occurring at a dizzying pace, often leaving the public confused and overwhelmed in what to do.
